This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps EISSEN has taken to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chains. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.

1. Our Business

EISSEN is a precision engineering company headquartered in the United Kingdom, providing:

  • Precision engineering components (clamp connectors, compact flanges, hub fittings, seal rings, subsea connectors)
  • Engineering and design services
  • Technical consultancy and project management
  • Maintenance and support services

We operate primarily within the oil and gas, petrochemical, and manufacturing sectors, serving clients across the United Kingdom and internationally.

2. Our Supply Chains

Precision-manufactured parts from approved vendors

Machinery, tools, and testing equipment

We source from suppliers primarily based in the UK, EU, and other jurisdictions with robust labour protections. We conduct due diligence on all new suppliers before onboarding.

3. Our Policies

We have implemented the following policies to address modern slavery risks:

Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

Sets out our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity, and our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery.

Supplier Code of Conduct

Requires suppliers to comply with all applicable laws, including those relating to human rights and labour standards.

Whistleblowing Policy

Encourages employees and suppliers to report concerns about unethical conduct, including suspected modern slavery.

Recruitment Policy

Ensures our recruitment practices are fair, transparent, and compliant with employment law.

4. Due Diligence Processes

We undertake due diligence when considering new suppliers and regularly review existing suppliers. This includes:

Requiring suppliers to confirm compliance with anti-slavery laws
Conducting risk assessments based on country of origin, industry sector, and business type
Reviewing supplier certifications and ethical accreditations
Reserving the right to audit suppliers and their premises
Including anti-slavery clauses in supplier contracts
Monitoring supplier performance and addressing any concerns promptly

6. Training

Staff Training Programme

We provide training to ensure our staff understand the risks of modern slavery:

  • All employees receive awareness training on modern slavery as part of their induction
  • Procurement and supply chain staff receive enhanced training on identifying red flags
  • Management receives training on their responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act
  • Training is refreshed annually and updated when new risks are identified
